Nick Vujicic

Imagine being born without arms. There is no arm to wrap around his friend, no hand to hold your loved ones, no experience of finger touch, no way to lift or carry anything. How much harder will life be if you live without arms and hands? Or what about the foot? Imagine if instead of without arms, you have no legs. No ability to dance, walk, run, or even stand up. Now put both of those scenarios together ... without arms and legs. What will you do? How will it affect your daily life?

Nick Vujicic, pronunciation 'Vooy-Cheech'. Born in 1982 in Brisbane, Australia, without any medical explanation or warning, Nicholas Vujicic came into the world with no hands and feet. Imagine how shocked his parents were when he saw a baby boy born for the first time, only to find him in a world that would consider imperfections and abnormalities. A child without hands is not a nurse .... Dushka Vujicic and her husband Reverend Boris Vujicic are waiting. How does their child lead a normal happy life? What will he do or become when living with such a big flaw? Little did they or anyone else know that this beautiful baby without a hands one day would be someone who would inspire and motivate people from all walks of life. God uses Nick to touch life and bring God's hope to people all over the world.

Throughout his childhood, Nick not only dealt with typical school and youth challenges such as bullying and self-esteem issues, but also struggled with depression and loneliness. She constantly questioned why she was different from all the other children around her, why she was born without arms and legs. He wonders what the purpose behind his life is, or whether he even has a purpose. According to Nick, the victory over his struggle along the way, as well as his strength and passion for life can be credited to faith in God. His family, friends and many people who have experienced along the way also encouraged him.

After school, Nick went on to further studies and earned a two-fold Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Financial Planning from Griffith University in Logan, Australia. At the age of 19, Nick begins fulfilling his dream to be able to encourage others through motivational speaking and sharing testimonies about how God changed his life and gave him the future and hope. "I found the purpose of my existence, and also the purpose of my situation. There is a purpose why you are in fire" Nick wholeheartedly believes that there is a purpose in every struggle we each face in our lives. Our attitude toward their struggle, together with our faith and belief in God can be the key to overcoming the challenges we face.

Now in 28 years, this young man without legs has achieved more than most people achieve in his lifetime. Nick recently made great strides from Brisbane, Australia to California, USA, where he was President of a 501c3 non-profit international organization; Living Without Limbs. Since her first talk back to her engagement when she was 19 years old, Nick has traveled the world, sharing stories with millions of people, speaking to different groups such as students, teachers, youth, businessmen and women, businessmen and religious of all sizes. He also told his story and has been interviewed on television programs around the world. "If God can use a man with no arms and legs to be his hands and feet, then He will surely use his heart with willingness!"

As a child, he struggled mentally and emotionally as well as physically, but eventually came to terms with disabilities and, at the age of seventeen, began his own non-profit, Life Without Borders. Vujicic presents motivational speeches around the world, living with flawed meanings, hopes, and finds in life. He also talks about his belief that God can use the heart willing to do the work and that God is big enough to overcome every flaw and all.

At the age of eight years Nick grows depressed, he felt suicidal, at the age of 10 he tried to drown himself in the tub. After praying to grow arms and legs and at first complain to God. That if he did not answer his prayer he would not praise him indefinitely, Vujicic finally realized that achievement could inspire others and become grateful for his life. He began to master the chores of everyday life. He learned to write with two toes on his left leg with a special handle that slid into his toes. Even now he can play soccer and swim. He became an inspiration to others and disabled people like him. He has found his purpose in life.

Nick is a devout Christian. He is now a motivational speaker and publishes Life Without Limbs. He graduated with two degrees of Financial Planing and Accounting. And Nick has been enjoying the year 2012 ago.
